Coco and Coal need a sitter.

My sister Linda, aka, Da has been summoned to help out.  Da is the designated "dog sitter" and helps out whenever needed.  Da arrived at 7 pm, and took them outside to do their thing.  She brought them in to play for a while (see pic).

This is Da.

Payback in a dog's life. Big Dog, Little Bed

On Coal's first day in his new home, he felt he had to mark his territory so he decided to pee in Coco's bed.  The other day, we laughed so hard because Coal was sitting so proud in Coco's crate.  Well, Coco is showing Coal who is really the boss:

Yes, that is Coal's bed.  And yes Coco is too big for that bed.  But yes, Coco is making a valid point!

Coal goes Visiting on December 27.

Coal behaves very well in a car.  Molly took Coal to visit Lindsay.  Coco really does not mind being left at home.  Coco likes it when the intruder leaves the house for a while.

Monday, Dec 22 or Day 3

Each day is getting better for Coco and Coal.  They pay better outside.  Coco will share the outside with Coal.

Once upon a time, there was a family of 5 plus Coco.  Coco is a black lab that was named after Coco Chanel.  With the girls being grown and the empty nest setting in, Larry and I decided we needed an addition to the family.  Coal is a rescue puppy that found his forever home with us on 12/20/14.  Coco is a 6 year old black lab. She is very territorial and not happy with Coals arrival We hope they will be buddies someday!

The first few attempts to introduce Coal to Coco didn't turn out well.  We need to gradually let them get used to each other.  Coco will realize that in a few days, when Coal is still here, that Coal isn't going anywhere.
